A Month Later

My baby girl is a whole month old.

A month ago, we were staring at our precious little bundle, amazed that she was ours to keep. I think she ate three times in her whole first 24 hours, and she was so little, we were scared we’d break her.

A month later, she’s an eating machine. She weighs over nine pounds now, and is outgrowing her newborn clothes. She’s in size one diapers, and sleeps for 2-3 hour stretches at night. She has such a little personality, it’s adorable. I love seeing how she develops. She’s got a response smile now, and even giggles in her sleep. She loves her swing, sleeps best when held, and is totally unsure about a pacifier. We’re learning each other- and I couldn’t be happier to have her in my arms.
