November at a Glance

The blogging hiatus has come to an end, thank goodness. I’ve missed you all like crazy. And while I didn’t get to 50,000 words this month (well, if you counted journalling, I’m sure I would be there), I did make it to 41,000, and I consider that a pretty great attempt, all things considered. My novel is now over 90,000 words, and I’m feeling pretty good about that!
In case you were wondering what happened to me this month…

November at a Glance:
First, we started the house hunting process. We found one house that was great, but it wasn’t meant to be – two other offers were put in wayyy higher than ours! Ultimately, we know that it worked out for the best. God’s plan is better than we could have expected anyhow.

I ovulated right on time, which is exciting! This is the third or fourth cycle that has actually been normal. Is it possible that the weight loss, avoidance of sugar, and naturopathic supplements are making my body nice and normal again? We’ll keep hoping.

Next, it was my birthday! I was spoiled rotten, with a new necklace, earrings, fancy teas, and some clothes. A delicious dinner at Moxie’s, some chocolate cake to fully break the dairy free, wheat free diet, and a big fat ovulation rounded off the day.

Then we bought a house! I know I wrote about it like crazy already, but its still so exciting! A new house! And we get to move in in February – so much fun! I’m already dreaming of paint colours.

How was your November? Anything exciting that I missed out on?

  1. Congrats on buying a house! I know it was such a relief when we finally closed after months of waiting. Good luck with the move and getting everything set up in your new house.

And just letting you know, I’m Miss Ariel on weddingbee.
